1 The Nozzle Mod...now updated... Sun Nov 15, 2009 12:49 pm
Mr.Lee
Here's my old nozzle mod...for the unitiated hehe...this mod will solve the air leaks on the nozzle area...it's a cheap alternative especially for hard to find air sealed nozzles upgrades for m14, g36, sig 552 etc.

Now here's some further improvement for it.
Mounted inside a hand drill and using a very sharp cutter just crater cut the base of the nozzle
so a 1x3 or 1x4 oring will be more deep inside the nozzle base.
Use sand paper to make the crated part more smoother and it will
help stick the small oring much better using mighty bond or any
other better bonding agent.
With this technique the nozzle will sit properly way back the cylinder head's
gas tube during draw stage
which help avoid any misfeed issues if
there are some using this nozzle mod.
Don't forget to break it in first once fully lubricated
using silicone oil by simply moving it back and forth
until it feels loose or not too tight anymore.
