AK74U grip/motorcage reinforcing
to all ak74u users and other ak user with the same grip design you might find this useful..

take note of the hole in the gearbox near the trigger we will use it..

drill a hole on the grip make sure its alligned with the hole in the gearbox ..use a 3.5-4mm drill bit..drill one hole first and make sure its alligned with the gearbox hole then let your drill bit pass thru the hole in the grip and the gearbox so the next hole on the grip is alligned on the other side..

on the reciever at the back part i attached an L type bracket so the back part of the grip can be screwed..the L bracket is glued and screwed at the metal body

do this also at the back of the grip and take of some material so the grip can sit flash with the reciever..I used a softer steel in that bracket so i can make a thread with self threading screws from ank gearbox..

a screw from an ank gearbox is used here..

hope this help to all AK USERS... a friend of mine bought a deepfire motorcage and lend it last sunday to a first timer and he broke the cage again from the back... Havent really tested this but from the looks of it this mod will help...

kanang for M4 tom depende lng nimo ug mopalit ba ka ug human daan kay naa na baya mga available nga pistol grip w/screw na pero kanang sa AK gamit gyud kaayo oi kay akong ak katulo nako nagpuli ug motorcage...after ani nga DIY hehehe, wala na gyud ko mabalii ug motorcage...dugang pud sa DIY ak pistolgrip - ayaw na butangi ug screw sa ilawom para ang support sa ibabaw na tanan...
